The government of Zambia has partnered with local private company Tazama Pipeline Limited to build a $7 million fuel storage plant in a bid reduce fuel shortages in the country, especially in North West province. “The proposed project is construction of a hydrocarbons storage facility with total capacity of 15.5 million litres in Chief Kapijimpanga’s area in Solwezi.

Google Inc will launch in India on Monday the first smartphones under its Android One project, pricing them at around 6,399 rupees ($105) to capture the low-cost segment of the world’s fastest growing smartphone market. On Sept 11 the Hubei Provincial Commodity Price Bureau announced a fine of about 249 million yuan ($40.62 million) for monopolistic practices by FAW-Volkswagen's Audi division. Eight Audi dealers in Hubei province were also fined a total of nearly 30 million yuan.

China is expected to overtake the United States to become the largest pool of chartered financial analysts within two decades, a vital step on its road to being a global financial power. Brazil proposed a bill that includes 1.54bn reais (US$662mn) in investments for airport infrastructure in 2015 under the PAC growth acceleration plan, according to federal government documents. The investment would come through national airport authority Infraero. It would include 473mn reais to update Brazil's airport infrastructure network, and another 988mn reais to improve and expand existing projects at 17 international airports.
