Profiles International seeks improved Nigeria productivity through performance

In a renewed determination to assist Nigeria in unlocking her vast economic potentials as well as achieving her goal as the leading economy on the continent, Profiles International, a world leader in Performance Intelligence tools and methodologies with headquarters in the United States and offices in 125 countries including Nigeria, is organising the first performance conference in Nigeria, with the theme, “Performance Intelligence: The key to Achieving Exceptional Organisational Results.”

According to Tilda Mmegwa, the country director of Profiles International in Nigeria, the conference is part of the strategies the organisation has outlined in its quest to help Nigerian companies attain true global competitiveness and adopt international best practice in their operations.

Mmegwa says this will be achieved through contributions by the panel of discussants from both within and outside Nigeria towards achieving enhanced living conditions through best-in-class performance improvement tools and methodologies for both the private and public sectors of the economy.

It is in the light of this that Deiric McCann, executive vice president, Profiles International UK, and a leading global authority on performance intelligence will be the guest speaker with some Nigeria’s captain of industry, such as Ben Akabueze, Lagos State commissioner for budget and economic planning, O.J Mbonu of PwC, Victor Famuyibo, Nigerian Breweries, among others, will provide valuable perspectives on the critical aspects of organisational operations.

She further says that the focus of the conference, scheduled for May 20, 2014, will be to discuss various strategies and hands-on tools to help both the private and public sector leaders navigate implementation challenges and consistently provide better results.

The essence is to build the capabilities of the private and public sector institutions and position them to produce higher and better results for national development.

Noting that lots of milestones are achieved in the area of recommending and enunciating policies, she says however that the challenges still remain with effective implementation capable of delivering expected and desired outcomes.

The conference is meant for chief executives of private/public sector organisations, executive heads responsible for human resources management, top level human resources practitioners, business owners/entrepreneurs, top executives in the banking, oil and gas, telecommunications, and FMCG sectors, government executives and heads of government ministries agencies and departments, among others.
