Corporate social investments (CSIs) have become dominant features of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Nigeria. With more companies making such investments, there is an increasing demand on CSR functions and personnel to demonstrate the shared-value of CSIs both to target stakeholders and the business.

This training programme is designed to help participants develop an in-depth understanding of CSIs monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment, as well as the various techniques for such assessments. The goal is to create a credible link between these assessments and strategic organisational objectives.

The programme will be mainly hands-on. You are encouraged to bring to the programme any live or future projects you intend to monitor, evaluate and assess.

• Overview of strategic impact investing
• Economic, social and environmental impact assessment
• Performance management systems
• Business analytics
• Project cost-benefit analysis
• Reputation and brand risk analysis
• Investment valuation (qualitative and quantitative) techniques
• Reporting and communication techniques

People with responsibilities in CSR, sustainability, project finance, investor relations, corporate affairs or related functions.
