18 Eagles Hit Camp, As Training Begins Tuesday

The Super Eagles camp at the Bolton White Apartment and Hotel in Abuja came alive Monday evening when 18 players reported as at dinner time in preparation for the friendly game against the Pharaohs of Egypt scheduled for April 12 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Other players yet to arrive have already given their words that they would be in camp latest Tuesday, on time to fit into the plans of the technical crew to gel for the game against Egypt and several other friendly lined up for the national team in the coming weeks.


All the technical crew members led by Dan ‘the Bull’ Amokachi, in the absence of Stephen Keshi, are in camp getting set for training which resumes at the Abuja National Stadium in the federal capital.

Leading the players in camp is home-based Eagles skipper, Chigozie Agbim, along with three other players from his Warri Wolves outfit, including impressive defence ace, Azubuike Egwueke, hot shot Sunday Mba and Ossai Uche, the ebony black midfield ace.


Agbim said he was happy to be back in the national camp along with his teammates and promised that thy will do their best in the coming friendly against the seven times African Nations Cup winners.
