 The Executive Business School (EBS), based in Lagos, Nigeria was incorporated in 2006 and commenced operation in 2007 in order to capitalise on a large and growing demand for academic programmes leading to British awards..

EBS, one of the largest independent Business Schools in Africa has adopted a niche and highly focus mission of delivering a narrow range of law and business related academic and professional programmes which are in high demand but with limited provision in Nigeria. The School has articulation agreement with prestigious British Universities in order to fulfil its mission. The partnership with the Bradford University Law School (BULS) is to deliver part of its Bachelors in Law (LLB) with the students joining the final year students in Bradford in the third year while the articulation agreement with Leeds Metropolitan University, UK covers the MSc Corporate Governance, MSc Accounting, Master of Laws (LLM) and Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA). The modus operandi is that EBS delivers part of the academic award in Lagos while students subsequently complete their studies with the linked British University with advanced standing

It is important to note that a group of high ranking professors from UK and European institutions contribute to both the development and delivery of EBS programmes, and that the engagement of external assessors of leading UK Professors ensures that the delivery of high quality provision that is recognised as compliant with international best practices and UK quality assurance processes is maintained.

The future development of EBS is guided by its dual Board structure; the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board, comprising high ranking technocrats, academics and professionals. 
The Chairman of the Board of Directors is Mr Gamaliel Onosode, OFR, a man widely respected and celebrated in the corporate world. His Boardroom experience is very rich and diverse having served as Chairman of several quoted companies including Dunlop Nigeria Plc and Cadbury Nigeria Plc. 

Other members of the Board of Directors are, Professor Stephen Letza, PhD, FCA, FRSA, Professor of Corporate Governance and Director of The European Centre of Corporate Governance; AWA Ibraheem, PhD, FCA, the Managing Partner ICMA Services Ltd, a financial and management consultancy firm; Chief Taiwo Ajala, LLM BL, legal practitioner and Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Law, Lagos State University and Dr. Remilekun Bakare, PhD, MBA , MSc , FCA, FCCA, FCIB, FCS, FCTI, the Director-General/CEO.

The Director-General/CEO

The day to day management of the School rests on the Director-General/CEO, Dr Remilekun Bakare. He has a PhD in Corporate Governance, Masters in Business Administration and Bachelor in Financial Services. In addition, Dr Bakare is a Fellow of the following professional bodies: Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK; Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Nigeria; The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria; The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria; The Chartered Institute of Bankers, London; The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.

Dr Bakare has over twenty-five years post qualification experience spanning the academics, consultancy and the financial services industry. He was the Pioneer Registrar/Chief Executive of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Nigeria, a position he held for twelve years until his voluntary retirement in March 2007. Dr Bakare had at various times lectured at Post Graduate Schools of ESUT Business School and Olabisi Onabanjo University both in Nigeria.

BACHELOR OF LAW (LBB)

The Executive Business School (EBS) on behalf of Bradford University Law School invites 

application for admission into its Bachelors of Law (LLB) degree programme.
The University
The University of Bradford, one of the leading Universities in the UK, received its Royal
Charter in 1966, though its origin dates back to the 1860s. Bradford is a great place to live
and study; it is one of the ten largest cities in Britain, located in West Yorkshire, North East
of England, small enough to be friendly, compact enough to be easily manageable, yet
large enough to have all the facilities of a thriving modern City.
The Programme
The LLB programme consists of three levels representing three years of a UK Bachelor
degree. Lectures for the first two levels will be held in Nigeria with Lecturers drawn from
leading Law Faculties in Nigeria and UK while lectures for the third level will be at the
University in Bradford, UK. Successful completion of the second level guarantees an
automatic and unconditional admission into the third level (Final Year) of the Bachelor of
Law (LLB) degree programme at BULS provided you apply within two years of completing

MSc COPORATE GOVERNANCE

Specially designed for busy Directors & Executives, the programme explores board level business dynamics,

full Masters qualification in one year part-time study.
This is the only MSc programme that recognises your professional Accountancy qualification and provides insight into
accounting and financial issues facing professional accountants in a competitive global market.
As a Chartered Accountant you are exempted from half of the full masters modules as you only have to do the following
to graduate: Contemporary Issues in Management Accounting, Contemporary Issues in Financial Reporting,
