For many years there has been a need for a high-quality, independent international school in Ibadan to serve both the local and expatriate communities.
Providence High School started on 22nd September 1997 with 45 Students and Twenty Six Teachers. Student population reached 75 by the end of the session.
Set within the tranquillity of Lekki Phase one, the school offers students the ideal learning environment while remaining easily accessible for both day and boarding students. The facilities and infrastructure within the schoolâ€™s 22 acre site enable students to develop sporting and extra-curricular abilities while its purpose built classrooms and well equipped laboratories facilitate excellent academic standards. Over 76% of students achieved grades A* to C in the most recent IGCSE examination
Abuja Capital International College opened in September 2002. It is planned as a privately owned, co-educational, non-denominational, day and boarding school with a capacity for 500 students of all nationalities aged 10 â€“ 18 years. Governance is vested in an invited Board of Trustees.In September 2003 Abuja Capital International College offered years 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. The College expands by one year annually as students move up the school.
