Nisa Premier Hospital (Nisa) was founded in 1996 by Dr. Ibrahim Wada. an internationally acclaimed gynecologist and fertility expert.
Nisa Premier Hospital teamed up with Nordica International of Denmark to establish 'Nordica Fertility Centre, Abuja' - a specialist unit within the hospital in 2001. Nigeria's first ever test tube baby i.e. by In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) technique (authenticated by the Federal Government of Nigeria) was delivered in this hospital when baby Hannatu was born in February 1998. Since then, over 1000 test tube babies have been delivered in this hospital.
Nisa Premier Hospital started in 1996 in a 3 bedroom flat in Gwagwalada, a satellite town in the FCT with just 8 beds. Sixteen years later, the hospital has erected three main buildings in Jabi with the third twice the size of the first two buildings. There are now over 50 beds for in-patients alone. The new block provides first class services to our patients and off shore facilities for our international partners to work in Nigeria.
To be a leading brand in healthcare service delivery in Nigeria and Africa, providing top class best practices to our customers at par with international standards.
To be a leading provider of Fertility, Women & Children and Family Medicine in Africa.
Nisa Premier Hospital was founded primarily to provide service to humanity. The hospital will therefore be engaged only in activities that will enhance its ability to contribute to the improvement of the well being of humans. We value excellent service delivery over and above profitability.
