The Christians, some of whom were Nigerians and some Britons came to Nigeria with the primary goal to spread the gospel of Christ to as many people as possible in Nigeria.
From this humble beginning the Church in Lagos remained steadfast in the desire to spread the gospel across all Nations, it has planted so many other Churches not just in Nigeria but also in the West Africa Sub-Region. Thus Churches have been planted in Benin , Calabar Ibadan, Ilorin , Ijebu-Ode, Kaduna , Onitsha , Port Harcourt and Warri. Others are Accra , Bissau , Banjul , Conakry , Cotonou , Freetown and Njamena.
Today through the dedication and sacrifice of these men of faith, the Church has continued to grow. The membership of the Church in Lagos is about 2000 disciples and staff strength of 35 people.
