..... Knowledge and success....
The aim for establishing the Primary/Nursery School in 1993 was to provide a first rate, early education for our children. Within three years of establishment, parents and pupils began to urge Management to introduce a secondary section to complement the excellent provision at the primary level.
Change is an alteration in the natural course of events. According to Heraclitus, ancient Greek Philosopher; change is the only permanent thing in life. Improvement is tantamount to change and change in this 21st century is like a ticking clock, it never stops. There are new ideas and innovations cascading like water falls; a man, an institution or a conglomerate that stand aloof will soon be obsolete for a pool of change has asked the old order of teaching and learning. That’s why EL-AIS ceaselessly overhaul its resources (human and artificial) to make room for more efficiency and perfection.
We took cognizance of the fat that expectations are ruthlessly high; and eyes are on us to be criticized especially with the demise of our great Chief executive Dr.(Mrs.) Maryam Babangida. But unknown to them, she had built a structure which has continuity and handed over a legacy which will never die. For this, for everything, we are in tune and equal to the task. We have the baton and can complete favorably, our contemporaries are no match.
Not only are we aware that education is a process of training and instructing our dear pupils, we know that it’s also
encompassing that’s why we inculcate knowledge through a rare systematic and instructional procedure top develop abilities, characters and mental aptitude of our pupils. Ours is child-centred and every one of them is important. We do not only prepare them for fulfilling a higher educational life but also to embrace the challenges and encumbrances of the future.
Education has taken a new dimension. For us change is inevitable. We strictly adhere to the federal government’s Universal
Basic Education scheme and apart from the rigorous academic work which we make pleasurable for our pupils; we still engage them in extracurricular activities; both receive the depth, breadth and lucidity of treatment which make our pupils to soar higher in their educational life.
We have competent graduate teachers and highly skilled personal with a wealth of teaching experiences. They have kept
abreast of change by constantly upgrading themselves through series of training, we engaged our pupils in excursion of
various kinds relevant to their fields. Our kidsare social, civilized and they mingle freely with different cultures and
class of people without sentiments. We expose them to competitions quiz and debate where they lift the banner of our great institution. That’s why EL-AMIN will always ring a bell within and outside the four wall of our nation.
Structure is also one of the most important factors that move any parent or guardian to desire a school. EL-AIS have one of the best structures require by a school of an international repute like hers. The computer café, Science Laboratories, Home economics Laboratory, fine art studio, Library, multipurpose Hall, Playroom, Classroom, Play ground and all other resource facilities are second to none.
El-amin is also interested in her pupils’ physical well being and sports life. There are so many facilities put in place to
bring out the best of track and field abilities in our pupils. We have a standard football field, basket ball court, volley
ball court, lawn tennis court and an indoor sport hall for taekwondo, table tennis and a wealth of others. What a serious
exertion! The natural beauty of EL-AIS is a spectacle to behold; the well tended flowers, lawns and shrubs are renaissance of nature; the wind howling for success on the trees with our pupils basking in the euphoria of its beauty! Hasn’t the future come into our citadel of learning. COME TO EL-AIS AND SAVOUR THE BLISS!
BREAK-TIME IN EL-AIS The curricular structure in EL-AMIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL is such that we observe eight (8) periods each day from Monday to Thursday and (6) periods on Friday.
In between these periods are two break period and these are the two periods I look forward to every school day. The sound of the bell that calls for break has a special melody for me as it always reminds me of a bird let out of a cage.
In as much as I love my academics with a passion, every child to unwind via horse play and an unregimented life – this is
what breaks time offers to us. At the chime of the bell we can’t help but rush with glee toward our lunch boxes to savor
the delicacies packaged for us by our parents. Thereafter, we stomp out in groups to the playground chasing after
ourselves, kicking balls, jumping in the air and sharing all sorts of gist ranging from cartoon, football, cars and all at
the top of our voices. The sound of the ball for the break-over is nostalgic. No pupils ever look forward to it. It marks
an end tour freedom. Once more, with sighs and hisses we run back to the classes to resume academics activities. Although academics activities are quite interesting but as a child, break periods still remain the ‘BOMB’

From the Executive Director
Although the journey so far has been smooth, we have had to navigate through some very strong currents. These have become ceaseless and typify the maxim that the road to success is always under construction.
It is certainly undeniable that Dr. (Mrs.) Maryam Babangida left a very big shoe to be filled, particularly by me upon whom the mantle fell as the overseer of EL-AIS. Yes, the task seemed daunting, particularly because it has to do with the very delicate job of Molding the heart and mind of these very impressionable but paradoxically high opinionated kids and teens.
Our efforts have been paying off and we all have the Almighty God to thank for His abundant grace. I am quite happy that the members of staff caught on very quickly to our brand of the Transformation Agenda and have done a good job of translating and transfusing same into our students. Management appreciates the members of staff for the one hundred percent pass our final-year students have been recording at the WAEC-SSCE and our emergence in Kastina-2010, as the National JETS champion. These were the first indication that the Transformation Agenda had taken effect.
While we are using the foundation laid by Dr. (Mrs.) Maryam Babangida as our ground for take-off, we are resolved not to be limited but to soar like the eagle and expand with a depth like the ocean.

“THE VISION THAT REMAIN CONSTANT BEFORE ME WHILE I PREPARED TO BIRTH EL-AMIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IS THAT EL-AIS SHALL EMERGE AND SHALL REMAIN ONE OF THE INSTITUTIONS OF EXCELLENCE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF STREAMS OF SOLID MINDS THAT WOULD FLOURISH INTO THE POTENT HUMAN CAPITAL THAT OUR COUNTRY NEEDS. SUCH QUALITATIVE EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL TRAINING SHALL DEFINITELY BE PROVIDED IN AN ENABLING AND INSPIRING ENVIRONMENT.
THIS IS THE EL-AMIN OF TODAY FOR TOMORROW.”
“Let me also express my deep conviction that the core strategy and structures of our reform policies and programmes …would, for a very long time, remain relevant and durable in the course of changing our country positively.
